![]() Model Number: WFL 2060 UC Brand: Bosch Age: 5 - 10 years
![]() I have a washer that when the motor starts it is already spinning at top speed. This thows the drum around and then stops because of the out of balance control. This happens on every cycle and everytime the motor starts. The only thing I have done to it change the brushes in the motor. I assume there is a speed control somewhere, whether it be in the motor or the control board. Does anyone know where the Speed Control is or if this problem is something else. Related Models |

![]() If the problem started right after you replaced the brushes I would double check their installation. Does it do it on spin cycle only or it does the same thing on the wash too?
Gene.

![]() Thanks for the service tips Gene, however I did not get the Fault Codes. Once the test program was entered all three Power Wash/ Rinse Plus, Quick Wash flash at regular quick intervals. After the Motor Test, which the motor did the same thing as described before, all three lights continued to flash along with the Rinse/Spin light.
I think I have the same question as before, is there an electrical component in the motor that controls the motor's speed or does the Control Module control the motor speed. Thanks Gene and if you could send the fault codes I would appreciate it. |

![]() I would suspect the control module.
The fault codes are in the table on the last page of the previous attachment. Gene.
