Belt intact. Will agitate and spin but not fast enough until you raise lid and close. I have to do this for each wash, rinse and spin. This causes the motor to move into another position as I have the front panel off. Is the belt stretched or do I need to replace the guides? It just will not move into the proper position on it's own.

Try to lubricate the moving parts on the motor mounting plate.
