All cycles of machine work every time except the spin cycle. I have cleaned timer (contact cleaner) Sometime it will spin on one cycle, but most of the time it will not spin at all. Is there anyway to check timer? I am leaning in that direction, but I just am not sure. It is expensive to guess.

Thank You
Kevin

If the timer continues to move towards the end of the cycle, it is probably the clutch. If the timer stops moving, it is probably the timer.

If the motor always runs in spin, you have a slipping clutch and bad brake shoes.
