whirlpool washer won't drain water and does not spin
Model Number: ylsq8200hq Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
The machine stops just before cycle, won't drain the water out also the motor hums then shuts the circuit breaker outlet with a smelly rubberry like.

One of possibilities is a foreign object inside the pump. Remove the washer cabinet and the pump (instructions attached). Rotate the motor shaft manually in both directions to see how free it's moving. Post the results.
