Not sure of age, I'm orig. owner. Thumping type of noise most noticable in spin cycle. Machine is top loaded, I need help getting the front off and knowing what to look for. Would prefer to not run machine while it's in this 'state.':confused:

take the screws off on the front panel. they are on the bottom of panel. then pull the bottom toward you until the the clips come off.

If their are no screws on the bottom of panel then use a putty knife under the top and push in the clips till panel releases.
