Model Number: 101-47512601 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
I've had this problem for a while, and after replacing the pump myself, I have decided I can fix this, too. However, I'm not sure what needs replacing. The water leaks out the front door of my washer, do I replace the bellows?

I could not find any information using the model number you supplied. It's not likely you will need a bellows/boot, unless it is torn or damaged. It sounds more like the washer may be over filling or could be sudsing, due to the detergent. To check the waterlevel switch and tube, you'll need to remove the top of the washer(unplug the power cord first). the waterlevel switch is usually mounted on the right side of the interior of the cabinet and has a small 1/4 inch tube attached to it. Carefully detach the hose, and blow in it to clear any debris or minor blockage in the hose. Reattach it and check for a fill and a short wash cycle. Also check and make ure you're using an "HE" detergent, and the proper amount for the load and water conditions. Please supply us with a proper model number, so we can be of more assistance, if needed. Thanks,
