I have a whirlpool duet. The control lock light comes on and nothing can be done to get the washer in a wash mode.

Hello Geadvantium. Try to hold the end of signal volume button down for 3-5 seconds to turn the control lock on and off. If this does not work, you will need to replace the control board. Hope this helps.
