The washer would start to fill and wash but would kick out and the start button would flash. I could also manually run a load of clothes by selecting soak, rinse/spin, and drain/spin. I ran diagnostics on it and it said the control board should be replaced, code EB3 "low voltage, if voltage is okay replace control board". The voltage at the receptacle is 118 volts.

Today I replaced the control board with a new one and the lights will light up, but the washer will not fill or even drain and spin. The door locks and the start button flashes and in a 10 seconds the door unlocks. I ran diagnostics again and again I am getting same EB3 diagnostic code. I took the back panel off and checked all my connections and everything is connected and tight.

Did I just get a bad control board? or is there something else I should check?

You probably did not get a bad replacement board, and your old board may even be ok.

Check the door lock assembly and the wiring going from it to the control board. If you do not find a problem, try replacing the door lock assembly. I know there is nothing in the error message to suggest this, but this is typcially a problem with these models, even though the error code doesn't tell you that.

I have installed the second control board and also a new door lock assembly. It will now start to wash, but the door unlocks and the start button flashes. Am just checking for continuity from the door lock assembly wiring harness to the end of the harness that plug into the control board?
