GE washer no agitation
Model Number: WPRE6100GOW Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
This GE washer with digital motor will not agitate, the spin basket just turns back and forth and splashes out water. The owner said it failed in agitate and made a lot of noise.
Motor flashes a LED 4 blink code which means "check mode shifter coil". This is part # AP4380186 and a special order item. Looks like a lot of work to replace as it is sold as part of the spin tube/spindle assembly! Maybe Gene has some info on this, would really appreciate it. Ads By Google Related Models
