My washer makes a loud whirring noise when spinning and the noise is getting louder over time. Sometimes it doesn't spin at all (I can tell because there is no noise during the spin cycle) and I have to give the tub a push to get it started. A friend suggested replacing the spin bearing. Does that sound like the problem?
