lightening damage to affinity front load machine?
Brand: Frigidaire Age: 1 - 5 years
I have a Frigidaire Affinity that stopped working today during a thunderstorm (before I could turn it off). It beeped and shut down, and when I attempt to retart it, it immediately flashed 'pause'. I held down the cancel and start buttons, and the machine flashed code E41. What do I need to do to get the machine back in operation?

|
Lightening strikes cause a huge power overload in the system, and it is almost impossible to tell what to repair so you end up going part by part. I would start with the main control unit and you may have to also change out the motor control unit.
