washer is a maytag neptune when at end of wash cycle on spin cycle it won't go to the high speed spin to dry clothes or remove water. I checked the machine to see if it was level it appears to be ok. I have noticed when wash cycle is complete,I can turn the dial and it will start adding water ,acts like it never shut off. I will run on spin cycle 2 or 3 times to try and get rid of the water in bottom of tub, it somewhat works but clothes are still quite wet.:(

Check the drain pump and hoses for clogs.
How to get access to the parts, troubleshoot and fix problems you can find in the service manual.

- Here are the break down diagrams for the Maytag Neptune washer Model MAH3000AWW

Thanks for the feedback on my question, I checked to see if the drain hose is plugged that seems to be ok, I removed the drain tube to the water pump and blew that out, removed water drain pump, that seemed to be free of any debri, isit possible to be plugged between washer tub and water drain pump, water seems to be exiting ok, it still does not go to the high speed rinse cycle at the end of wash completion what should i try next again thanks for your response

Perform the troubleshooting described on the page 3-9 in the service manual.

Good luck.

You have the classic failed control board, R11, Q6 failure, just check for a smoked R11.

If you want to spend up to $300 do that, if you want a really neat fix costing
$1.00 plus a new wax motor go to :
Maytag No Spin Problem - Alternate Solution - Appliance Blog Forums mainly a power resistor from the start switch to the wax motor!
If you can fix pc boards, go to #1 MAYTAG NEPTUNE WASHER R11 Q6 REPAIR KIT + WAX MOTORtm for parts and info
Please lemme know how it works out, never did this before.
