Whirlpool Imperial top load washer vibrates periodicly during cycles. Its not vibrating from being off balance. It sounds like it is internal like a bearing is going out. Any ideas would be great

If you will post a model number someone may be able to help. Sounds like the support system is the problem, but you will have to open it up and examine for something broken, and if you cannot see anything observe it while it is running to see if you can determine the problem..
