Washer will stop in mid wash cycle. Then I press start/pause button to restart, it will get to rinse cycle at 9minutes go down to 5 minutes then go back to 9 minutes down to 4 minutes etc. But will not leave the rinse cycle unless iI stop machine and manually put on drain/spin cycle. I'm thinking bad control board any suggestions?

I think so so, but you willl have to go ahead and change it out to be sure.
