Yes, can a timer be replaced with an updated one to give the washer more cycles? My washer is not that old, and I was just wondering. I know you would probably have to change the faceplate on the washer too, as well. Thanks for your input on this.

Uh, no, the timer is mated to the rest of the controls and to the specific model.
