Washer humms but nothing happens
Model Number: LBT6233DQ Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
Washer filled but will not drain out or spin, washer will humm and acts like it wants to spin but nothing happens.

Does it agitate?
Remove the cabinet, remove the pump and see if it works without the pump. If it's not, remove the motor from the washer and check if it works alone. Gene.
