Spin stop and start
Model Number: SM8281021 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
Wisher cut off and start back, and continue to stop and start, but will not work continuely.

The model number you posted is incorrect. Looks like this a serial number. Verify and repost it. Also, can you be more specific on the problem? Gene.
