Washer will spin slowly but not drain
Model Number: AAV7000AWW Brand: Admiral Age: 1 - 5 years
It started about 2 weeks ago. The washer will spin ( in rinses and spin cycles). However, is will not drain or drain slowly. It is not suds lock. It will spin/drain out the water if I take the clothes out to let the water spin out. Then I put the clothes in and it will usually spin out.
I noticed that if I tap the motor ( it actually moves) it will start spinning faster. The belt also gets hot. Could the belt be slipping and need repalcing or is it more involved than that. hanks. Mikie Related Models
