full repair attempt history,so far:-firstly the drive/fan belt came off.i cleaned the fly wheel and put it back-three times.so i replaced the belt (ordered from hotpoint),no joy,still slipping off.the inner steel drum could be hand turned but kept jamming,it seemed something was trapped around the drive shaft that connects the inner drum through the outer plastic drum to the fly wheel at the space between the two drums.i have removed the drums and seperated the two front & back sectionsof the outer plastic drum.this leaves the inner steel drum connected to the outer drum by the drive shaft-the fly wheelhas been removed.the problem i'm having is seperating the inner steel drum from the back half of the outer drum to get to the tangled space between.i have tried to release what looks like a bolton the outer side of the drive shaft but this just turns the inner drum.can someone please help.
