In any of the temp positions that have a cold setting, the cold water just trickles out where the warm and hot have a normal flow. By going to the parts locator, I come up with water temp switch AP4025587 by Whirlpool. Is Admiral made by Whirlpool? Wasn't sure how that would control the water flow. Almost seams like it has to be some sort of a valve but maybe this controls the valve. Any direction would be appreciated. Thanks, Allen

Allen, Remove the cold water fill hose from the washer. Make sure there is a good pressure in the water line. Check the screen inside the cold water solenoid. If it's clogged, you can try to clean the screen but I would recommend to replace the water valve. If you need the correct part number for the water valve, post the serial number of the washer. If the screen is good, check for 120 VAC to the cold water solenoid while the timer calls for water and the temperature control is set for cold water. Post the results.
