I have an LG Direct Drive Frontloader Model # WM2010CW and it wont lock! I have unplugged it overnight and replugged, but it still wont lock. I am a single mother of four and a college student and can not afford to have a tech come to my house. I looked up the parts that could be causing this issue and I believe that it is the Door Switch Assembley A440 part number AP4441836. I just wanted any advice. $60 is alot of money in my house and I can not afford to buy a part I do not need. Is there anything else that could be causing my washer to not lock or display an error code DE?

That is likely the problem, but see if this service manual is close enough to your model to help with some more diagnosis. http://136.166.4.200/contents/L...832xx_Service_Manual.pdfIf you buy from this site and the part does not fix the problem you can return it.
