I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I have a washer that squeaks very loud when the spin cycle is on. When I turn the machine off while the spin cycle is on, the machine sounds like a car slamming on it's brakes. What can I do to fix my machine?
Thanks for your time.

The first thing I would check is the bearing on the pump.

Lift up the washer from the front, remove the belt and check how the pulley on the pump is moving.

Gene,

Thanks for your help. I have family and friends that live in South O.C.. I will be sure to refer them to you!
