my top loading washer is filling up with water draining(spinning included) yet the middle swoosher is not swooshing... belt is not broken what else could it be?

MiMiLove,

Can you hear if the motor is running in the wash cycle ?

If the motor is running, you could have stripped splines on the agitator or a bad gearcase/transmission ?

If the motor is not running, it could be a bad timer or water level switch ?

Could you get us a model number, it'd be a great help, so we can be a lot more exact on our reccomendations.
