I replaced the motor coupling on the washer and was putting the back panel on when I noticed a wire that had become disconnected. There are three wires in the connector. One is brown and goes to the Water level knob. The other is Gray and goes to the wash cycle. The third is green with a yellowish strip on it. This is the one that has come disconnected. Does this wire tie into the other ground wires? Or does it connect somewhere else?

Trace it back and I think you will find out that it is a ground wire. If so just go ahead and ground it to the frame.
