still will not work
Model Number: wptg9350coww Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
I have tryed checking everything that I can . How can you check the lid switch as it is a small sealed unit. The screen still reads there is a problem detected with this unit. Canj the lid unit be shorted across so it shows ok?

If you can unplug the wires and tape them together you will be bypassing the switch.
