Maytag Washer will not agitate but will spin and rinse
Model Number: LAT8214AAE Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
our Maytag washer started smelling like something burning last night and would not agitate but the spin cycle worked and drained the water.. Does anyone know what the problem might be.

The first thing I would do is check both belts.
Here are the break down diagrams and the parts list for the Maytag washer Model LAT8214AAE Gene.
