This morning we put a twin bed comforter in the machine to wash it and at some point before the end of the cycle it started making this sound. It appears to be functioning properly all of the cycles are working. We ran a 2nd load and I think that the sound is a little quieter now, but something isn't quite right. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Link to small mp3 of the sound.

It is almost impossible for us to diagnose a sound without being there to hear where it is coming from.

I would take off the front cover and see if you can locate the sound or see is something is amiss. Otherwise I can only suggest two things,

1. Keep using it but watch and listen carefully.

2. Remember why they invented laundromats, they are good place for something like this because of the bigger front load machines that do the comforter job very well.
