The washer won't agitate nor spin but it does drain. About 2 weeks ago, I changed the coupler and the machine worked fine. Last week, maybe due to an overload of laundry in the washer, the washer stopped agitating and spinning. So I ordered a new coupler. I changed the motor coupler and it still does not agitate or spin. The motor just makes a humming noise. Prior to changing the coupler , the motor made more of a clanking or grinding noise. So whats next?

If it is draining then the motor is turning. Watch it with the cabinet off and see if the clutch is turning when the machine should be spinning. If not, then the transmission may be the problem.
