Model Number: 44152 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
The washer will not run in any cycle, if you set it to drain/spin it trys to pump out the water for a few seconds but it never spins. This happened during the warranty period and I believe they replaced the control board to fix it. I order the control board Part number 137005020 from this site and it is slightly different than the board that is in now. It is missing the reed switch connector (J8). what is a reed switch and have they decided that it is no longer necessary? Is the control board the right part to fix the problem? Suppose I should have asked that question before I bought it.
