washer sometimes goes all the way through cycle. but usally stops radomly in different parts of cycle and you have to hit the start to get the cycle to continue. the timer was replaced

You may be able to use diagnostics to see if a hidden fault code is there.

If the stop point is totally random then a bad connection would be at the top of my list as the cause.

denman is the bad connections on the water valve selnoid the white wires and how do i get the connections out to redo

YES

how do i get the connections out to redo
Usually there is a small lock tab on the pin, push this down so it does not catch on the housing and then it should either push or pull out

The white wires are fixed but still having the same problem what is the blue jumper between the white side and the other side of selniod. what else can it be

I would remove the front panel screws, tilt forward and tap on it while the washer is running. If it stops, remove power and check for loose connections, or a bad solder joint. If that is the problem, replace control board AP4026827
or fix obvious problem.
