Hello, there is a 10 amp fuse on the motor control board which is located near the floor on the right side. See MAYTAG NEPTUNE WASHER R11 Q6 REPAIR KIT + 12002535 WAX MOTOR for disassembly photos. If this fuse is blown, it will cause the washer to shut down usually a few seconds after you press the start button. In addition, the tub will not move because this board drives the motor that turns the inner tub. When the fuse blows it usually is caused by the output transistors shorting which means it will have to be replaced.

If you have the original motor / motor control board then you will have to get the 12002039 motor conversion kit which includes a new redesigned motor and redesigned motor control board. These run about $175 on the mentioned site.
