Washer will spin but not agitate
Model Number: wsse422oaoww Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
Washer will spin with no problems, but it will not agitate. You can here the moter running but nothing is moving. Is this the transmission?

Could be the drive bell
On the hotpoint I have, you have to pry the agitator up and out by hand. This reveals the drive bell which is plastic. A bolt holds it down. Remove the bolt and the bell slips up and off the drive shaft. Mine was stripped on the inside. I ordered one for $7.50 plus shipping. Good Luck.

hotpoint washer model vbsr2060v1ww,does not agitat but spins out the water,. was told to replace agitator coupling. how do i remove the agitator to get to the coupling. i printed out the exploded view, so far i removed the cap from the agitator. need help
|
