I have a kenmore 90 series washer. When turned on the seems to work and it sounds like it is going to start, but it fails to agitate/spin and it will not pump water out. I check the direct drive coupler and it appears to be fine (no prongs broken/tears in rubber gromet etc). Is the brake a possible cause for this or is more likely the pump/transmission? Thanks.
