Model Number: DLW330RAW Brand: Amana Age: 5 - 10 years
I replaced the main bearing and I cannot tighten the nut on the trans shaft enough for the little plastic spline insert to seat properly in the grooves of the shaft. This prevents the belt drive seal not to seat down all the way. I have had hubby (who is very strong) try and he cannot tighten enough either. I have checked and triple checked the install of all the parts against the diagrams I found on this appliance site and the parts are all installed correctly according to these diagrams. Any assistance you would be kind enough to offer is so greatly appreciated. Thank you.
