I've changed the motor and still the washer won't spin

If the motor is turning and it won't spin the problem is likely in the transmission or the brakes which are inside the transmission assembly.

the motor isn't spinning at all........it will only agitate dut during the spin cycle i can only here the pump pumping

If it is agitating during the spin cycle you need to replace the transmission.

no it doesn't agitate during he spin cycle. During the spin cycle i hear the pump and that' s it. The motor doesn't spin,nothing

I replaced the motor but it still does nothing.

I Don't know. I think it does but i guess i'll have to double check. So I am clear, I have to check to make sure the tub spins in both directions?

So if i disconnect the belt the i should be able to spin the tub in both diretions?

No the pulley on the transmission should move.
