My Whirlpool washer is giving me a problem. Just stopped during cycle and I restarted thinking it may have been bumped to shut off - filled and stopped again - now nothing - we checked for power and have power - could this be a timer issue?

If it will drain then the coupling is the likely suspect. Check the lid switch when you get into it just to make sure that part is ok.
