why would washer spray water on final spin cycle
Model Number: LSR8233EQ0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
My Clothes always coming out really wet Spins ok But I ran the final spin cycle with the lid up An about 1/2 way in the spin cycle It sprays water for about 30 seconds It seams to be spinning just fine why would it spray water when the spin cycle is to get the water out. Can someone please Help me out here

jeff, it sprays that water out in the final spin, to assure there is no suds on the clothes. if you fell that the washer is spining up to speed, then the timer could be cutting off early, or you could be mistaken on the spin speed, and you could be have a brake and drive tube assembly going out. tom ********************************************/parts.htm

Okay, thanks for advising that the water sprays at the beginning of the rinse cycle to make sure no suds are left on the clothes. I guess that makes sense, but, would that not dilute the effect of the fabric softener you add to your final rinse
 ?
