I am looking at the picture of my washer's Tub, Suspension & Drive components page. GE Washer model# WPGT9350COPL. When the machine goes into load sensing mode I can hear a grindind sound. Also if I move the tub around by hand I can hear something rolling around in it. My husband took the pulsator cap, screw, pulsator asm off and found 2 metal LOOKS LIKE BALL BEARINGS inside. Does any part on machine have these in them or did this just fall out of the pocket of a piece of laundry?

It does not seem like something from the machine, if it works ok now go ahead and keep using itl, but watch it closely while you are using it until you are sure things are ok.

No, it does not work like it is suposed to. There is still grinding sounds and there are now some small black rubber and metal shaving at the bottom of the tub.

The bearing assembly is a sealed part, this item here Part number: AP3207181
and that may be the problem. I am somewhat mystified as to how stuff is getting into the tub, but don't have one of these machines in front of me, and with GE, who made things about as complicated as you can get them, anything can happen.
