hello, Murray here, kenmore washer , aside from display lighting up it does nothing, i get 12o volts to control board, but nothing works no power to pump, pump good, level switch good . valves good ,tried doing diagnostic test , woudnt allow me to check out differrent componants, i replaced control board behind display panel, same thing, when this macine starts i assume it does a prepumpout, if it cannot do the pump out, will it do nothing? could it be damaged wire to pump? according to tech sheet if there is no power to pump the control board is at fault, thanks

I think it is likely the problem is in the door lock assembly, if it will not lock then that usually prevents the machine from doing anything. Try checking it using the tech notes.

Good luck.

I know they don't, it's like a problem Frigidaire will not acknowledge.

Let us know how things work out. If you need a service manual, see if you can tell me the U. S. equivalent of this model, since it looks like this is a Canadian model whose number will not come up in our data base.

Hello, I have a similar problem on my Kenmore 417-48112701 front loader. I have lights flashing on the front. Tried to put it in diagnostic mode and tried to display the error code but the lights do not behave the way the instructions dictate. I was suspecting the control panel but I will wait to see what develops on this post. I will attempt to check the door switch but I have not figured out how to remove the covers. Bob

Bob

Here is a link to a service manual for your model. It will help you get into the machine and test various components.
