I have a whirlpool washer that would fill and wash, but, not spin and drain.
I replaced the pump and the coupling between the motor and the transmission. This did not help, then I noticed that the lid switch was damaged, so, I replaced it also. Now the washer fills with water but, then,
it stops. It won't do anything but make an occasional clicking noise. I thought about changing the timer switch, but, this is getting expensive
and I really don't know much about washer repair. Is there anyone whose
experienced this that can help me?

My guess would lean more towards the drive motor switch... If I recall this motor spins one way to agitate and the other way to spin and pump out the water... AP3081302 is the P/N for the switch...
