Water barely trickling to fill tub

My Whirlpool washer barely has water trickling in to fill tub. We replaced the water inlet valve about 9 months ago, could this be the same problem again?

Remove the hoses at the washer and run them into a pail to check that you have good flow.

Some hoses have a filter screen built into the sealing washer at the tap. Also hoses can de-laminate internally and reduce flow.

If OK.
Take a look into the water vale connectors. They have a filter screen perhaps they are partially clogged.
Clean them if dirty.
Do not permanently remove the filter screens as they are there to prevent crud from getting into the valve, holding it open and causing a flood.
You may have to remove the valve from the unit to do a good job.

If your hose has a hose break protection system these are know to cause problems.
