In the rise cycle. Water drained but there is a loud ratcheting noise while the tub is spinning. I checked for balance OK removed the front cover and could not see any damage on the under side. About three month ago I replaced the drive motor coupler and everything has worked well until now.

It is difficult to diagnose a noise like yours without being there to hear it. I would by-pass the lid switch and run it with the cabinet off and see if you an learn where the noise is coming from.
