Default Stuck agitator coupling
Model Number: wpse5290   Brand: GE   Age: 5 - 10 years

Under the agitator is an agitator coupling or "plastic drive block" that is held in with a 7/16ths bolt. I've got the bolt off but the plastic "agitator coupling" will not come off. I tried putting a rope under it (tied to a 2x4) and pulling up but that didn't work. I tried putting a small crow-bar under it and working it around the hub but was afraid I'd break the hub putting too much pressure on it. Any suggestion for getting this piece off would be greatly appreciated.
