Spins to fast or not at all
Model Number: MAV8557AWW Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
Spin cycle is very noisy (more of a roar than a whine), seems to spin much much faster than normal, a few times would only start spin when started by hand. Motor, belt & pulleys all seem ok. Is this likely the transnmission (in which case it's junk) or something else?
