Kenmore series 70 washer will not agitate or spin i will try to list what happenes when unit goes through a cycle
set timer turn on
water fills ok
the motor comes on and is running through wash cycle but no agitation
after wash cycle water draines
after water draines motor comes on to spin but tub does not spin
tiner advances to off

I need advice on whare to go from here the following is a list I have done so far
lid switch checked out ok
coupler cheked out ok
motor ok
agitator can not be turned by hand

Is this electrical or mechanical problem?
how to west transmission and clutch?
what else could it be and how to troubleshoot?????
