Default Leaks water
Model Number: SM 9710803-A   Brand: Kenmore   Age: 1 - 5 years

My washing machine leaks water when it switches from washing to draining the water. It leaks only for a second or so near the front of the washer as it switches to drain the water in the tub. Does not leak while filling or washing.
Is this just a seal or is it something more? How costly and hard is it to get it fixxed?

Richard

Default same problem

Don't see any obvious place for a leak in that spot except for the bleach filler reservoir on top. Does that have one way valve that is bad and leaks only on the drain cycle for a second??

No response yet?
