We have an Admiral washer we bought 2.5 years ago, but we only use it 6 or 7 months of the year. We have started to get small holes in our clothing after washing them. Any ideas what the problem is. We don't use bleach.

I had a pair of pants that came out of the dryer with a 1/4" x 1/2" hole. My wife had three small holes in a straight line that were about the size of the head of a pin or a bit larger. I also had a small square hole (1/4") in a shirt. mike

Haven't checked the clothes out of the washer before we dry them. I was thinking maybe too much heat, but with some of the holes in a nice straight line, and no other signs of heat damage, it doesn't seem likely that the damage is done by the dryer. But then, I'm not expert and have no experience in this area. Thanks, mike
