My second Maytag, both have run water in and out non stop. When it fills to rinse it will not stop, water just goes out the drain. The other one I had did the same, I gave it to a friend and he has hsd no problems. Maytags must not like me.

Its your drain.

What is happening is the drain is either lower than the top of the washer or it is a "sealed" drain that is causing a siphoning action. When the washer fills the first time, everything is OK. When it drains then starts to refill on the rinse, the water just keeps on draining. Its being siphoned out.

What you need to do is fix the drain, If the drain is high enough, then the drain hose is probably sealed to the drain stand pipe. You may need to install an anti-siphon valve. Like this one. Part Details - WHIRLPOOL Syphon breaker, part number: AP3073577

That was it!! Problem solved! Drain hose was tight fit into drain, not allowing any venting. repaired and working fine! Thank you gentlemen!
