I need to replace the user interface. The new one comes with the ribbon cable. How do I remove the old one from the washing machine. Do I have to remove the top or back of the machine?

This does not mention how to remove the ribbon cable which is attached at one end to the user interface and then attaches to the body of the washing machine. How do you remove it from the washer?

Did you take it apart yet?

The ribbon cable usually plugs in, so you have to pull it out.
