Model Number: LXR7133JQ0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
My machine spins as if it is unbalanced and rocks with lots of noise. Also, it leaves clothes very wet or even leaves about 4 inches of water at the end of the cycle. BUT, sometimes it spins correctly and drains all the water. When it doesn't drain, I put it on another cycle on spin only to drain the water.

I would pull off the outer cover, pump and motor to check the clutch and brake shoes. Turn the tranny coupler clockwise till the tranny goes into spin. If it is very hard to turn and the clutch housing turns with out the basket turning, this confirms bad clutch and brake shoes. Also, check the suspension springs.
